The Mobile Life has been a proud partner to Vasaloppet since 2011. Vasaloppet is a major classical sports event in Sweden with 100 years of experience. During nine consecutive years The Mobile Life provided the official mobile apps for both the summer and winter editions.

The world’s longest ski race
In the app you can follow participants on the course and get live reports from each checkpoint. In the monitoring view you can follow the topography of the course and see what participants have ahead of them. The map helps you on location in Dalarna to find places related to the races and give you important traffic directions. It also keeps you updated on the event’s programme and gives you the latest news from Vasaloppet.
A proven mobile platform for live events
Vasaloppet’s mobile channel is the visible part of a digital platform that connects and integrates third party hardware and software from onsite physical event areas. The system featured time-tracking, race visualization and in-app payments.
Creating long lasting digital engagement
The Vasaloppet app has been one of Sweden’s most downloaded and used apps during the years. The reason for this is the exposure from being a major live broadcasted event on the state owned television and the heritage of being a hundred year old sporting event. During the years of cooperation the app evolved from a single winter event app to become a seasonal app for all events including running and cycling in the summer. Over the years, the apps have reached millions of downloads and users, converting into significant business value to the organisers.
Warning: It has come to our attention that some individuals are falsely claiming to represent The Mobile Life, by setting up fake websites and offering jobs communicated via Whatsapp. This is a scam and has nothing to do with our company, as such do not make any payments to them. We encourage everyone to report these scams to the police.
